Hitachi LCD Models

Hitachi is Japanese Company that was founded by Namihei Odaira in 1910. The company's first products were three 5hp(3.6775 KW) electric motors. Hitachi has been developing LCD products for past 25 years. Hitachi Displays Ltd a subsidiary of Hitachi Ltd is responsible for planning, development, designing, and manufacturing and sales of the display devices which include the LCDs. They have manufacturing units worldwide to produce the LCD products. The factories are supported by four R&D sites within the Hitachi group covering fundamental research of display technologies, production engineering and systems development.

It has been announced that for its 50th anniversary, the Wooo 9000 line of TVs will be introduced. The Wooo 9000 line of TVs will have four tuners, two digital and two analog, and an optional built-in hard drive based PVR. Including two LCDs a total of six models will be introduced. The 9000 series televisions will have the swivel options which position the screen according to the direction of the remote control signal.

The LCD set has four tuners so the screen is able to display two different channels on one each half of the screen. All models will be equipped with HDMI input, SD memory card slots, USB, cable card and 10/100 Ethernet port. Though the pricing has not been announced on Hitachi's new HDTV and LCDs, the sources say that it ranges between about $3000 and the mid $4000 range.

1. Hitachi 62VS69 - this is a 62 inch LCD with rear projection. The technology used is high definition. The cabinet is slim and sleek. This model has a wide screen 167:9 ratios 3 LCD 720pixels light engine, two components of video inputs and an HDMI inputs. The product has been priced approximately around $ 1100.

2. Hitachi 55VS69. The screen size of this model is 55 inches and this model is known as the Ultra-vision high definition LCD TV. The specifications for this model are built-in over-the-air HD tuner, cable card slot, and tabletop rear projection design with slim and slender cabinet. The pixel resolution is 1280 x 720 pixels, two component video inputs and HDMI inputs. The price of this product is approximately around $ 1400.

3. Hitachi 32LD9700 32in LCD TV. This is a 32 inch TV and is one of the best of the top end of Hitachi's LCD range. This model has strikingly pleasant and sleek body work. The highlights of this model is that it has twin HDMI support, a trio scarts, a PC port , component video input and some multimedia provision in the form of USB port for attaching digital cameras and an SD card slot for direct playback of digital photo cards.
